I'll start out with the Rolex 24.  If you don't know what it is, its an endurance race where DP (Daytona Prototype) and GT (Grand Touring) race cars race around the Daytona Speedway for 24 hours.  Even though its a hell of a lot of fun, a majority of people are there for the party (its only like $25 to go into the infield and stay overnight) or to see Patrick Dempsey (soap star on TV).  Patrick has his own racing team, and they are sponsored by the Children's Tumor Foundation, so its all for a good cause.  I have over 1,000 pictures go to through, but I'll post some of my favorites from the garage now.  If I find any others I want to post, I'll post them.  I plan on making an entire new page on my website for Rolex Photography.  =)

Can you see my words in the pic? No? C2E.
Well I need to get back to editing pictures, so ownard to the other topics!

OH! I am getting Kris to paint me a horse that looks just like Crown Atop A Royal!!  Its on the new Driving SM, and her name is going to be Shot of Crown. ;)  I think I already said that before, but shes coming along so beautifully.  Kris is putting dapples, which I didn't expect, and I think shes ready for her paint markings now. I'd post pictures to show how shes coming along, but I'll have to ask Kris first!

My dad has his soul set on getting me a Honda.  Which, in all reality I'm not pissed off about.  I really would much much rather have a Mazda2 or a Mazda3, but he doesn't want to go drive one with me.  Its so stupid, and doesn't even make me want to want the car.  Once I had a car I didn't want, and I was careless and kept crashing into things.  (2008 Jetta)  So I told him that he NEEDS to go drive one with me to see what I like.  I understand its HIS money and hes going to spend HIS money on what he wants, but its just, hes not listening to me..
2008 Honda Civic with 50,000 miles on it already (which is BAD!) for $13,000ish..
2011 Mazda2 with >1,000 miles for $13,000ish.. Under warranty.. Everything!
Which would you choose?

I thought I would post some videos, to entertain you, my loyal reader! =)

First two videos will be Chris running autocross.  (1986 RX-7)
Next will be of hamster agility training.  Its progressing beautifully!!  I love my Robey Os! =D
Thats all for now, I'm at a friends house and I don't really want them to know I have a Blog. =)

She needs an even coat of paint, her eyes done, and her gloss.

Sorry about earlier, my math was really pissing me off, and It was just really frustrating.  I absolutely HATE fractions, and I was dividing and multiplying for stupid equations.  Anyway, I'm sending an email off to Susan, and I'm going to bed.  =)

I'm very frustrated right now, and I just want to post some pictures.
Possible more information later, but right now.. I just want to go outside and mess with apoxie.

Frisian foal is done, she just needs one more coat of black and her eyes done and such parts glossed.  She came out adorable, and is my first LSQ horse! =D

Picture
I made Robey some obstacles for agility. I still need to make a couple things, and make her an arena.  I am so excited!

We bought the Hamham worms, and the SPILLED ONTO THE FLOOR! I screamed because Chris accidentally spilled them onto me.  They started crawling into my carpet!!!

Picture
So we sent Lola to the rescue to suck them out of the carpet!

Mazdaspeed3 Rally Car at autocross, AWESOME!

Thank gosh I had a fun weekend, after that last entry, that day just went down hill from there.  I called PETCO and Pet Supermarket, and they said if they wanted me they would have already called. Damn it, I'm getting deperate now.. I'm going to have to apply to Red Robbin because Anna (friend) said they are needed a hostess.  I can do that, but hopefully I'll get enough hours to keep myself afloat.  I don't know if I can do $8.00 an hour, but I guess its better then nothing.

Saturday and Sunday was autocross, which is racing your car around cones.  It was a lot of fun, but Chris didn't win anything this time.  He really needs new tires, but tires are expensive!

I've lost motivation to post this though.. Because I lost a hamster today.  Her name was Baby and she was a Dwarf Chinese Hamster.  Recently she was running very funny, like a ferret with her back all crouched and such, and I knew that wasn't right.  Well, I was right because she passed away in her sleep last night. (Although, hamsters don't sleep at night..) But we are guessing she choked or had some plastic background from a Breyer barn clogged her insides.  =(  I wasn't home when Chris checked on her, so I was thinking he was joking when he called me to tell me. He wasn't.. I am not too upset about it, because there was nothing I could have done to save her, but I just wish I would have played with her last night when she wanted to come out.. I regret that.

I also just realized when I was cleaning out her cage, there was absolutely no food in there.  Chris told me to cut back because I was wasting food, becuase all they did was bury it, but I'm not doing that anymore.  I am making sure they have full bowls every day and I don't care if they bury it, at least I know they have food somewhere.  I don't think she starved to death, because she was highly active and acted like her regular self.

Here's a slide show in honor of her.

Right now, I can literally list off the shit that has gone wrong today.  And I can name one thing that has gone right.

1. I had the weirdest dream, I don't want to go into it, but it was annoying and I couldn't wake up.  I was exhausted for some reason, because my hamsters decide to chew their bars at night.  Its just Mello, and I don't know what to do with her.

2. Class was canceled.  I don't really mind that, but I had to drive all the way there and drive all the way back.  I don't have a job, so money is really tight and I can't afford the $3.75 price of gas. My stupid car takes premium or it'll run like shit, so I don't really have a choice.

3. I go to cash my unemployment check of a whopping $162, and the lady working there thinks I'm an idiot.  I'm waiting for a teller to get open, and she says "mam, you need to wait over there and someone will see you in a second" no shit, thats what I'm standing here for.  but I walked over there and got my check cashed.

4. I tried my hand at sewing today.  Bad idea.  Well, it came out alright, but it looks like crap.  I had some left over memory foam from a client that I forgot to put into her box, so I wasn't about to cut open a box just to put a small piece of memory foam in there.  So I made a little pony pouch for Deckerette.
Picture
I swear, it was the hardest thing to do.  At one point, Chris suggested I put it down for a while.  I finally finished and was slightly proud of it.

5. I worked in my "studio" today, but in all reality I just destroy models there.  My airbrush machine isn't working right, but I tihnk its just the paint thats messed up.  It shoots out water sometimes and barely any white.  Totally ruined two models I was working on, so they're in the process of getting their primer, paint, and anything else removed off them.
Picture
The Stone Chips and the SM G4 were the ones I ruined.  It really pissed me off.

6. I think that medallion is a fake..  but by no means do I think the very nice lady who gave it to me did it or anything.  This is only my second medallion, but this one feels like it has a plastic coating over it.  I tried to paint it but it wouldn't stick.  I don't know how to tell if its fake or not, but who knows.  I am primering over it so that I can paint it (hopefully)  The horse is going to be silver, the ribbons red, and the background green.  Along the front ribbon in front of the horse its's going to say "Happy 4 Years". Yup! its for Chris for our 4 years!  I chose silver because that is the color of the first horse he painted with me.  On the back I started painting "I love you" but then i dropped it into the paint I was using and said screw it.  So its on my back porch getting primer.

NOW! the one thing thats going right for me today is the little foal you see. I am making her (him? idk) a Frisian!!

I really hope it comes out good!! I have a Frisian Gelding, and I am planning on making a mare, so I'll have a whole family! Well, the family was made before he was gelded, hehe.

See, Frisian foals don't have a long mane and tail yet, and they like to hold their feets high.  Which made me choose this model. Since shes sortove prancing/trotting, I flipped up her mane a little in some places.  Its hard to see, but tomorrow when she gets primered and further sanded, I'll take some pictures. =D

Inspiration for the choice of model.

I thought this looked really neat. =)

Short mane and tail, but still fuzzies on the feet!
Picture
Newborn I'm guessing, but I wanted the model to have fuzzies.
Well, I'm off to watch TV and take a chill pill..

OH! 7. I burnt my popcorn before I started this entry.  And burn popcorn just sucks.

Classes started this week, and the stupid school still don't have my books together. It'll be a week tomorrow since I've ordered them, and it really makes me wonder how hard can it be to take books that are there off a shelf and into a bag? I have chapters I need to read, and homework I have to do.

I almost have everyones models ready to head home.  I have two more horses to get into their boxes, and I'm done. Only two? Why didn't I finish? Because Chris got here and I don't mess with horse stuff when hes here.  I did get my horses put away, though, and their ribbons. =)

I will never understand myself.. I go to bed early, because I was tired from Saturday, and I still wake up late.  YES.  I, with 181 classes, of all people, woke up late.  Laura texted me twice, thanks GOSH, and woke me up at 7:50. The show started at 8:00.  I'll admit, I missed one or two foal classes out of the three rings, but that was because some foals weren't unwrapped yet and some were.  Laura, her mom, and Chris were all helping me get ready.  Jackie was amazing and made sure I didn't have any other models in the classes that were being called.  I haven't even counted how many ribbons I brought home for everyone. But I have about an inch thick of Mini ribbons, 31 NAN cards, and a half inch thick of traditional ribbons.  Also 5 Champions, 5 Reserve Champions, one Overall Grand Champion (includes cup) and one Overall Reserve Grand Champion. Curious on who won?  I hope the owner doesn't mind, but here is who the Overall Grand Champion was for the Traditional Custom Division:

The best part of my day? Seeing Deckerette win 1st.. Then Champion.. Then 1st.. Then Reserve Champion.. then Overall Reserve Grand Champion.  I won't lie, I almost cried.  If you don't know, Deckerette is a portrait of Decker I used to ride.  Shes been slightly successful, but now, shes taken my breath away and deserves to live in my curio cabinet.

Well, I'm about to pass out.  I have many other winners, like Kakenzie who placed 2nd, but my head is throbbing and demanding sleep.  Tomorrow I can snooze in!  ;)

Today is finally over! It didn't take that long for me, only until 5, but I think it went on until 5:45 or so. My proxy's and I received 1 First, 2 Second, 1 Third, 3 Forth, 3 Fifth, and 2 Sixth.  Here's some pictures from today =)

BEST part of Saturday, Laura and her mom bought me an apple/grape/cheese snack set and it had CARAMEL DIPPING SAUCE!! She is the best! =D

All in all I had a really fun day! =)

Here is a CM I finished painting on Friday. I didn't get around to taking pictures until we got here.  He came out awesome, except for the stupid finishing spray.. It made him all bubbly and circly as you can see in the pictures.  I gave him to laura for her birthday, she loves him!  I used pencils to stripe the hooves (learned from Kris) and I painted him white before I did the black (learned from Kate).  I also finished the medallion, but I'm going to take pictures of that tomorrow when its out.  I think I'm going to put it in the Cookie class, just for the heck of it! =D  I should have brought my airbrush machine.. I was hesitant because I didn't think I'd have time, but turns out I do!
I'm off to email my proxys, hop in the shower, then give my Chris some much needed attention since he was neglected all day. I think he had fun though, because there were a couple new people he talked to, like Laura, and talked with Nicci who were next to us.  I need to hit the bed early tonight, I'll be on my feet all day tomorrow!

The background is going to be light blue, and the horse is going to be black with possible pinto markings. I found an amazing reference photo for a pinto, I love him!:
